ACTPHAST 4.0 innovation model shares best practices with Lublin, smart photonics region of Poland

Prof Hugo Thienpont, Vice-Rector VUB Brussels Photonics Team and Coordinator of ACTPHAST 4.0, was invited to address a major regional conference on photonics as a key driver of the innovative economy in Lublin Poland, which is a smart region of Europe for photonics technologies. The conference was attended by policymakers, researchers and industry including SMEs, all with a common interest in accelerating the deployment of advanced photonics technologies in innovative new products and applications for the 21st Century, thereby driving a strong dynamic digital economy for the region.
