PCRL of ICCS/NTUA collaborated closely the Greek cluster HSIA (Hellenic Semiconductor Industry Association) in order to organise an info-day about ACTPHAST's purpose and its activities to the members of HSIA.
The Hellenic Semiconductor Industry Association (HSIA) was launched in 2005 as a non-profit association of high tech industries to represent the dynamic Greek sector of semiconductors, micro- & nano- electronics and embedded systems. HSIA brings together 50 industrial members and over 30 relevant universities and institutes in Greece and abroad. HSIA is also member of the European Semiconductor Industry Association (ESIA) and the Global Semiconductor Alliance (GSA).
The information event took place on Thursday, April 2, at the premises of Innovathens , which is the hub of the municipality of Athens city for the spreading of innovation and entrepreneurship. In addition to that Innovathens has provide additional significant support to the organisation of the ACTPHAST info day by taking over:
1. the preparation of a press release and
2. the announcement of the event through its public site
During the event the standard presentation of ACTPHAST project was presented to the attendants by Dr. Dimitris Apostolopoulos followed by 1-hour discussion with the participants in order to answer any questions and provide clarifications/explanations on the details of the process for potential participation to the project.
The event was attended by representatives from five (5) companies, members of HSIA, as well as by one journalist of the municipal radio station of Athens city (Athens 98,4 FM), with the intention to present the ACTPHAST project and its opportunities in a forthcoming broadcast.
